Amusing: An author asked me to disregard a particular reviewer's comments because the author believed the reviewer might have examined the manuscript on a submission to a different journal and was therefore biased against the paper.

Strangest Request: I was amazed when an author, who provided an abstract, asked me to commit to publishing the manuscript she was planning to write.

Relax?: Walk my standard poodles, share wine and laughter with friends, volunteer in community and religious activities, enjoy my adult sons' early adulthood stories.
