Best: Meeting new people and helping first-time authors

Worst: Receiving manuscripts which are poorly done, with errors (one reviewer called them "sloppy" errors).

Amusing: Someone called me crying, because they were so happy their paper was accepted (a first time author!).

3 words: Competent, goal-oriented, and fun once the work is done!

If not editor?: Writing more and revising books. Open an antique store.

Relax?: I am involved in the conservation of endangered sea turtles. Visit "seaturtle.org" or "mote.org" or ask me about book suggestions.
