WHO'S WHO OF NURSING EDITORS
Ellen Olshansky, PhD, RN, CNAA-BC, FAAN Assoc Editor, Teaching Tips, Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing, 2005/p> Years as Editor: Since 2005 Years in INANE: Since 2008 Other Position: Grant Director, Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence, 2003-present Accomplishment: I have loved working on the teaching tips column and it is the most popular column at the journal. Best: It keeps me current in educational literature Worst: Timelines Amusing Story: It has been a pleasure to spend time with other assoc editors at JCEN. We meet at the NLN and always laugh a lot. These are people I may not otherwise have met. 3 words: Funny, pragmatic, workaholic If not editor?: I would be writing regardless of what else I was doing. Relax?: Spend time with my family, particularly my new (first) grandchild. What a treat he is. He'll be 1 yr on Jan 4, 2008. I'm convinced this is the payoff for having children. |
