Amusing: A colleague of mine received a manuscript from an author who did not know her name. The envelope was addressed to "The Aging Nurse Editor".

Strangest request: A potential author requested that I write the statistical portion of a manuscript. I didn’t.

If not editor?: Possibly spend more time writing my own articles.
